Bloom Haven tips: power-ups and hard puzzles
These tips help you finish Bloom Haven puzzles with moves to spare. Nothing here costs anything, and you can always try again.
How to make power-ups
A power-up is a special flower. You make one when a match is bigger than three:
| Match | Power-up | What it clears |
|---|---|---|
| 4 in a row, side to side | Clear this row | The whole row |
| 4 in a row, up and down | Clear this column | The whole column |
| A T or L shape | Clear the nearby flowers | The flowers all around it |
| 5 in a row | Clear every flower of this colour | Every flower of that colour |
The power-up appears where you made the swap. Choose it to see what it will clear before you use it.
Tips for using power-ups
- Save power-ups for the right spot. A row clear is best on a row with many covered tiles.
- Let power-ups set each other off. When a power-up clears another power-up, that one goes off too. Two power-ups side by side can clear a big part of the board.
- The colour clear is great for flower goals. If your goal is 27 golden flowers, a colour clear on a golden flower helps a lot.
- Using a power-up costs one move, the same as a swap. A power-up caught in a normal match goes off without costing an extra move.
Tips for Collect flowers puzzles
Look at the colour in Your goal. Every flower of that colour you clear counts, even in cascades. Matches low on the board make new flowers fall, which can start free matches above.
Tips for Clear the leaves and Free the planters
Covered tiles count once, the first time you clear a flower on them. Aim your matches at the covered rows. Row and column clears are best here, because one move can clear a whole line of covered tiles.
