Here are short answers to the questions people ask most about Squad Rush.
Is Squad Rush free?
The first three stages are free to play. Membership opens all 12 stages and every other Contenta game. Your progress stays with you when you join.
Are there ads or in-game purchases?
No. Squad Rush has no ads, no chat and nothing to buy inside the game. Coins are only earned by playing, and you spend them in the Workshop.
Does Squad Rush work on iPad, Android or a phone?
Yes. It runs in the web browser on tablets and phones, as well as on computers. Hold the screen sideways, then drag on the road or use the ← → buttons to steer.
Can I play Squad Rush with a controller?
Yes. Steer with the left stick or the D-pad. A closes the door, Y switches line, X switches blaster and Start pauses. You can also use the controller in every menu. All buttons are on the controls page.
Do I need to download or install anything?
No. Squad Rush plays in your web browser. Open the page and press Let's go.
How do I save my progress?
You don't need to. The game saves by itself, in this browser on this device. If you play on another device or clear your browser data, you start again from the beginning.
What age is Squad Rush for?
It is made for kids about 8 to 12 and the grown-ups who play with them. The words are short and simple, and the game shows one tip at a time while you play.
Is Squad Rush violent or scary?
Your squad fires blasters at cartoon robots. Hit robots spark and fall apart. No person gets hurt and there is no blood. The big bots are loud and busy, but not spooky.
How long is Squad Rush?
A stage takes a few minutes. The whole adventure of 12 stages is made to take about 30 to 45 minutes the first time. After that you can replay stages to win all 36 stars.
Which languages can I play in?
English, Swedish, French, German, Spanish, Italian, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. Change the language on the title screen or in Settings.
How do I get a bigger squad?
Line up early with a gate and shoot it to raise its number. Free friends from gold cages. In the Workshop, the Starting squad upgrade gives you more friends at the start. The tips page has more ideas.
How do I beat the big bot?
Watch for the red lanes it marks on the road and step out of them before the attack lands. A big squad and stronger blasters break it faster. If it is too hard, spend your coins in the Workshop and press Try again.
