The workshop, pay and repairs
Towing jobs end at the workshop of Norrvägens Bärgning. Roll slowly into the marker, drop off the vehicle and get paid. Your pay is the base pay plus three bonuses. The same workshop fixes your truck when it gets dents.
Delivering to the workshop
Follow the minimap and the workshop signs along the road. Drive slowly into the marker in the yard. The mechanics say hello and take the vehicle. Roadside jobs, like tyre changes and jump-starts, end on the spot instead. The customer just drives on.
How a job is paid
The Job done screen shows where your pay comes from:

| Clean recovery | 10% of the base pay for a straight setup with no mistakes. A tidy setup earns a smaller bonus |
Bad weather and heavy vehicles raise the base pay and give you more time. The pay also changes a little by chance. So the same job never pays exactly the same twice. Base pay goes from 1,100 kr for the keys locked in the car to 19,500 kr for the overturned timber truck. Here, kr means kronor, the money in Sweden.
Crashes cost money
If you crash into another car, your company pays the cost right away. It is 1,500 to 6,000 kr, depending on how bad the crash was. After a serious crash during a job, you are taken off the job. Base sends another truck. If a car runs into you, it isn't your fault. The insurance handles it.
Your truck's condition
Crashes lower your truck's condition. So do knocks against the guardrail or other things in the way. So do mistakes where the bed or the wreck hits your truck. Condition starts at 100% and goes down, on the side that took the hit. Once the truck has a dent, its condition shows at the top right. You can see the damage on the truck too: dents, a cracked headlight, a bent bumper.
Below 60%, the truck pulls towards the damaged side. It also loses top speed, up to 20% slower at its worst.
Repairs
The workshop fixes the truck when it stands still in the yard. It also fixes it between shifts. A repair costs 150 kr for each percent of condition. If you don't have enough money for everything, the truck is only partly fixed. Each truck keeps its own condition.
Quick dash from the workshop
After a delivery, the next job is often far away. Then Base can offer a quick dash from the workshop. It takes you to the road just before the accident site. It costs 40 seconds on the job clock and the game clock.
The shop
Open the pause menu (Esc) and choose Workshop & shop. There you buy and switch tow trucks. You can see all the trucks and prices in Tow trucks and the shop.
