Klondike
Klondike is the classic. You have seven piles on the table. Your job is to get every card up to the four piles at the top.
The rules
- Put a card on one that is one higher and the other colour. A red 9 goes on a black 10.
- You can move a whole run of face-up cards together.
- When you move the last face-up card off a pile, the card under it turns over.
- An empty pile can only take a king (or a run that starts with a king).
- Aces go up to the top piles. Then 2, 3 and so on, all the same suit, up to the king.
- Tap the draw pile to turn cards. When it is empty, tap it to turn the pile over. You can do that as many times as you like.
- You win when all 52 cards are up top.
Turn 1 or Turn 3
| What happens | |
|---|---|
| Turn 1 | You turn one card at a time. Easier. Free to play |
| Turn 3 | You turn three cards at a time, and only the top one can be played. Harder. For members |
Tips
- Turn over hidden cards first. A move that shows a new card is often the best one.
- Wait with the kings. Only empty a pile when you have a king ready to go there.
- Don't rush cards up. A low card on the top piles can't help you build any more. Sometimes it is better to keep it on the table for a while.
- Stuck? Tap Hint. If there is no move left, tap Undo and try another way.
