The computer players

Six made-up players sit at the table with you. Each one plays with a habit. After a few hands, you can start to guess what they will do.

Meet the players

Player Habit How they play
Mira Careful Mira plays only a few good hands, likes to check and almost never tries to trick you.
Leo Eager Leo plays lots of hands and loves to stay in to see the next card.
Signe Tricky Signe plays fewer hands than Leo, sometimes bets with weak cards, then folds if you bet big back.
Edvin Nervous Edvin folds when the bet gets big, even with cards that are pretty good.
Noa Learning Noa plays big pairs and high cards, keeps going with a pair and folds when nothing fits.
Sam Mixed Sam picks one of the other five habits at the start of every hand.

In the free demo, you play with Mira, Leo and Signe. Edvin, Noa and Sam join with a membership.

When you set up a table, you can choose the habit and the skill for each seat. You can also give a seat a new name.

Faces can fib

Each player has a face that changes when they make a move. It can look calm, pleased, worried or blank.

For some players, a pleased face means good cards. But Signe and Sam can fib with their faces. A pleased face might mean they have nothing at all! A big grin after winning the chips is just a happy grin.

Your own face never changes, so nobody can read you.

What skill means

Each computer player has a skill from 1 to 5. Skill tells you how often they stick to their habit.

Skill How often they stick to their habit
1 Half of the time
2 6 times out of 10
3 7 times out of 10
4 8 times out of 10
5 9 times out of 10

The rest of the time, they pick any move at random. So a skill 1 player is hard to guess, and a skill 5 player nearly always does the same kind of thing. In the free demo, every player has skill 2.
