The free trial has no end date: your first 10 files come out clean, later files carry a watermark and a 10-minute cap. Subtitle tracks are kept when a video is recompressed. The app has a new icon. The MCP server keeps its JSON output clean, so it works with Claude and other MCP clients.
AV1 encoding works at every preset: the SVT-AV1 encoder now gets named presets, so an AV1 job at the default preset no longer stops with exit code 4. Intel Quick Sync (QSV) encoders get matching presets, and numeric presets map onto the SVT-AV1 scale.
