Cinema cameras record at massive bitrates — RED, Blackmagic, Sony FX, Canon C-series. Re-encode your production footage with H.265 or AV1 and save 50-70% storage without visible quality loss.
Download Free TrialProfessional cinema cameras prioritize image quality over file size. The result: drives fill up fast, and editors spend more on storage than on gear.
After editing and delivery, raw footage sits on drives consuming terabytes. Re-encoding to H.265 or AV1 recovers 50-70% of that space while keeping deliverable quality.
VideoRecompress Studio processes your entire project folder in one batch:
Real-world compression results from production footage re-encoded to H.265 CRF 20:

| Blackmagic 6K Pro (BRAW) | 150 GB/hr | 52 GB | 65% |
| Sony FX6 (4K XAVC-I) | 90 GB/hr | 32 GB | 64% |
