Was ist eine FBX-Datei?

FBX (Filmbox) was acquired by Autodesk in 2006. It stores mesh geometry, materials, textures, skeleton rigs, blend shapes, animation curves and scene hierarchy. FBX is dominant in game development and VFX because it preserves animation rigs and morph targets when transferring between tools.
